What a finale! An absolute banger of an ending. The final battle is everything you want from Studio Trigger!! The insane kinetic energy, massive glowing transformations, and a blindingly vibrant color palette! The character designs hit their absolute peak here. A perfect, flashy wrap-up to the entire series! If you like BEASTARS, you would definitely want to watch this as well!

The climax kicks into high gear! The animation was absolutely explosive here with chaotic action scenes everywhere. The dark, ominous red tones taking over the city's color palette really sell the "apocalyptic vibe". Seeing all the different beastman designs in full action mode was a massive treat!

The concert sequence was a visual masterpiece! Trigger goes all out with the lighting, particle effects, and popping idol colors. That contrast between the bright stage performance and the dark, sinister plotting happening behind the scenes was beautifully directed. The character expressions are so on point in this ep 10/10

We finally dive into the deep lore and flashbacks. The historical art style change during the flashbacks is a fantastic visual treat, using those washed out, gritty tones that contrast hard with the present day neon color. It gives so much context to the world and the ancient character designs reflect that brutal history perfectly!

The conspiracy starts to unravel here! The color tone shifts into sterile, creepy clinical whites and sickly greens that perfectly match the tense medical facility setting. The beastman designs during the berserk transformations are terrifying and visceral! The pacing doesn't let up for a second.

We get to see some awesome flying sequences here that really show off the fluid animation and dynamic camera angles. The bird character designs are super slick, and the sky scenes use this gorgeous, breezy color palette that feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the gritty neon city streets. 10/10 cinematography!

The story shifts gears into some heavy cult stuff, but the vibrant art style keeps it from feeling too gloomy. The character design for the glowing pink wolf is stunning and the moody color tones during the night scenes really make the neon pop! The tension between the characters is great in this ep

What an absolute must-watch! The Trigger animation is on full display here with the incredibly bouncy, chaotic, and colorful baseball game. The exaggerated character designs of the different animal teams are hilarious and perfectly fit the crazy sports anime vibe. It’s pure fun and the fast pacing keeps you glued to the screen, lol

The neon color palette continues to amaze me, especially during the party scenes on the mainland! The character design for Nina the dolphin is super cute and expressive. The contrast between human and beastman societies is handled so well without slowing down the fast pacing. It’s a great expansion of the world.

The world building expands into the corporate side of the city, and the color tone shifts nicely to fit the tense, clinical environments. The fight choreography is super snappy here, showcasing the diverse animal character traits brilliantly. It keeps getting better, definitely a must watch!!

That contrast between the bright, popping colors and the gritty underbelly of the city is handled perfectly. You really get to see the exaggerated character designs shine here, especially when Michiru discovers her powers. It's a great mix of fun, bouncy visuals and surprisingly heavy themes. W episode!

The vibrant neon color palette and Studio Trigger's signature fluid, explosive animation are insane right out of the gate! The character designs are incredibly expressive, making the beastmen look so dynamic. The pacing is super fast and pulls you right into this chaotic urban fantasy. Totally worth your time!

What an all-out final ep!! The stops are being pulled out and everything’s coming together: the sci-fi vibes, the political plot, and the high-action energy!! The writing of this ep is honestly really similar to another Studio Trigger work that delivers a similar hopeful message about society, iykyk 🔥 I’m very satisfied with this finale (even if it feels a bit rushed lol)

Holy moly, this penultimate episode feels so INTENSE 😫 So many unexpected and incredible team-ups and clashes that feel exciting! The use of the insert songs in this ep is peak: the dissonant vibes are so GOOD!!! The unsettling thing they did to the ED is also so clever omg. We’re truly speedrunning to the finale~

Our rising stakes have shot through the roof, OMG 😱 The sus vibes of this society that have been simmering in the background have finally surfaced…!! This ep is packed to the brim with sci-fi action and it’s full of jaw-dropping moments~ This is a fantastic episode with a rollercoaster of emotions!

Our intriguing plot moves forward in this episode! More drama and worldbuilding 🤯 We finally get some answers to a lot of questions that have been unanswered in the last eps!! The blend of psychology and science here is great… And the use of the OST in this episode to enhance the emotions is simply PEAK 🥹

Whoa there, the opening scene is a little bit scary lol. Caught me off guard 😱 The rest of this ep leans into the horrific vibes, holy moly. Prepare to see some SERIOUS action and a glowing reveal that’s admittedly not too shocking, but a satisfying reveal nonetheless 😂 OMG, the worldbuilding and lore in this ep is crazy good…

This ep once again plays around with the politics that come with a society of beastmen and humans needing to live on the same planet. It’s becoming increasingly apparent that there are a lot of issues for the characters who live in this world. It makes me sad…😭 This ep’s beautiful scenes in the skies have such solidly smooth animation though, they’re so exciting to watch!!

Fairy tales and dreams mix together in this ep!! The mystical scenes are so pretty, I love the dreamy color scheme that makes it all feel extra magical ✨ There’s developments with Michiru and her dear friend, which adds more interest to this story’s overall plot. The emotions in this ep are quite nuanced. Love the drama lol~

Batter up, ‘cause it’s time for a sports-themed ep ⚾!! It’s great that this episode focuses on Michiru’s athletic side!! The sakuga here is pretty intense, given the sporty theme. This is defo more of a breather episode tho… the stakes aren’t as high as previous eps and the energy is mostly silly~ 😂 That said, there’s still a message in this ep that ties in with the political themes that this series loves to play with.
