📖 SYNOPSIS
What would you do if everyone you care about suddenly forgot you exist — not because of anything you did, but because someone erased you from their memories? That's what happens to Rukia Kuchiki when two mysterious siblings attack her in the Soul Society, wiping her mind and making everyone who ever knew her forget she was real. Ichigo Kurosaki, her closest ally and a Substitute Soul Reaper, gets hit by the same memory wipe but is snapped out of it by Kon. So now he has to fight his way into a Soul Society where none of his former allies recognize him, all while trying to figure out who these siblings are and what they want with Rukia. The whole thing plays on that core Bleach dynamic — Ichigo charging headfirst into impossible odds for someone he refuses to abandon — but the memory angle gives it real emotional weight. Watching characters who fought alongside Ichigo now treat him like an enemy hits different. Studio Pierrot put together some genuinely great fight sequences here, and the animation is a step up from the TV series. If you enjoyed the emotional stakes of Bleach Movie 2: The DiamondDust Rebellion or the friendship-driven plots in Naruto Shippuden Movie 3: The Will of Fire, this lands in similar territory but with a more personal, melancholic edge. It's a movie that works even if you're not deep into Bleach lore — the themes of memory, identity, and what bonds survive when everything else is stripped away carry it on their own.
