📖 SYNOPSIS
The anime follows Mato Kuroi as she enters junior high and quickly befriends her classmate, Yomi Takanashi. Their contrasting personalities – Mato's innocence and Yomi's maturity – strengthen their bond. However, as they advance to their second year, being placed in separate classes causes a rift in their friendship.
Interwoven with this story is a parallel narrative. In a separate world, Black Rock Shooter, a girl with blue fire in her eyes, confronts Dead Master, who wields a jet-black scythe. Their battle is a fight to the death. The anime explores the connection between these two realities, highlighting the emotional turmoil of the young girls and the violent conflicts that arise. The core theme revolves around the purity and the violence within the hearts of these young girls.
