Bishoku-ke no Rule
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A serious, responsible young woman, Reyna is trying to help her single mother make ends meet. Her plan? Sign up for a paid dating app to earn some extra cash on the side. Sounds straightforward enough, except her very first date turns out to be her uncle Yuma, a businessman who clearly has his own agenda. What starts as an awkward family reunion in a café quickly spirals into something much more uncomfortable when he grabs her hand and leads her toward a public restroom. Yeah, it goes there. This is a 2024 OVA from Studio Nur, and it leans hard into taboo territory without much pretense. The character designs are detailed and the animation quality is solid for what it is. The story doesn't waste time with buildup; it throws Reyna into a morally messy situation almost immediately and lets the tension do the heavy lifting. There's a thread about family dynamics and desperation running underneath everything, though the show is clearly more interested in the provocative side of that equation. If you've watched things like Aki Sora or Boku no Pico and you're familiar with how these forbidden relationship stories tend to play out, you know what you're getting into. It shares some DNA with Shoujo Sect in terms of pushing boundaries with its premise. Just know going in, this one doesn't pull punches, and subtlety isn't really on the menu.

I didn't expect the story to be this decent for an ova, and seeing Reyna struggle with her family finances made me feel for her before everything went south. The moment her uncle Yuma grabbed her hand to lead her away was super tense, because I could see her internal conflict over the money and her situation at home
The way she was just trying to negotiate for cash and ended up with her relative is such a mess and the visuals stayed consistent the whole time
You can tell they put effort into the art and the scene in the public restroom was definitely a choice for a first episode
I felt so bad for Reyna trying to help her mom but then that plot twist with Yuma at the end of the date really caught me off guard
The animation style is surprising because it actually looks clean and the part where her uncle shows up at the meeting spot was a huge shock
i was surprised by the character designs and reyna has a really great look even if the plot is moving way too fast for my liking
that ending in the bathroom was out of nowhere and i didnt expect yuma to be such a creep right away
yuma taking his own niece to a public toilet is definitely a choice and the tension during the negotiation part was really well done
the whole single mother backstory made reyna feel more like a real person and it made the dating app desperation feel a lot heavier
the animation is better than most stuff in this genre, and the way the episode ends on such a strange note makes me curious about the next one
reyna trying to be responsible for her mother only to end up in a bathroom with her uncle is a pretty dark turn for a first episode
the scene where yuma just pulls her into the bathroom was super sudden and anyone would wonder how the show handles that family connection moving forward
I really liked the art style and seeing Reyna try to act all professional before everything went sideways with her uncle was a trip
I went into this expecting something generic but the uncle twist actually caught me off guard, because Reyna seemed so genuinely stressed about her mom and the money situation, and the art is surprisingly clean for a niche production like this even if the ending in the public toilet felt a bit rushed compared to how much time they spent talking in the beginning
reyna looks way too innocent for this kind of stuff and it made the whole dating app setup feel actually uncomfortable
Yuma is a total weirdo for grabbing her like that and the animation during the walk to the restroom felt a bit stiff
I felt bad for Reyna wanting to help her mom and then getting stuck with a creep relative instead of making actual money
The art style is okay but the public toilet setting is such a weird choice for the first meeting with her uncle
