📖 SYNOPSIS

"Between the Sky and Sea" unfolds in Onomichi, Hiroshima, in the year 20XX, a world grappling with the disappearance of fish from the seas. Only whales remain. To combat this, the Ministry of Fishery establishes massive Universe Fish Tanks in space, prompting the creation of the Onomichi Universe Fishery Union. Due to a new equal employment law, female fishermen are in high demand. The story centers on the journey of six newly selected female space fishermen. The anime explores their training, the challenges they face in this unconventional profession, and their growth as they strive to succeed in a world where the very nature of fishing has been redefined. The series focuses on their experiences within the Onomichi Universe Fishery Union.
