Berserk of Gluttony Season 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Fate Graphite has spent his whole life at the bottom. In a world where your inborn skill determines your worth, he got stuck with Gluttony, a power everyone wrote off as useless. Then he kills someone, and everything changes. Gluttony turns out to let him absorb the abilities of anyone he defeats, which sounds like a clean revenge fantasy setup until you realize the skill is genuinely hungry and every new power comes with the risk of losing himself to it. He also picks up Greed, a sentient sword with its own personality and agenda, who becomes both his combat advisor and his most honest companion. Balancing all of that is Roxy, a holy knight whose warmth keeps the story from going completely grimdark. Season 2 picks up that thread and pushes it further into the rigid, class-obsessed holy-knight society that has always treated people like Fate as expendable. If you finished Season 1 and wanted more time in that world, this is exactly that. If you liked Arifureta or The Rising of the Shield Hero and prefer your underdog stories with some genuine emotional weight attached, this franchise fits that space well. It is based on a light novel, so the source material goes deep. The tone is dark and action-heavy but not without warmth, and the Fate and Roxy dynamic gives the grimmer moments somewhere to land.
