I love how the falling sakura petals subtly mirror the romantic tension between the two. It's such a nice directorial touch. That said, this episode is hot and super cute! I just love the contrast between Tayama and Yamada. Both sides have their own charm that is very easy to like.

Yes, the truth is that the story is literally a slow burn, so much so that the main character calls it "Slawki" or something like that. It's so, so obvious from the viewer's perspective 😭
Haha, yeah. If there's something to nitpick about this, it is the pacing. But I don't really mind that. It's perfect as is in my opinion. I'd find it A LOT more weirder if their relationship progresses so quickly. This kind of relationship needs time.
