📖 SYNOPSIS
In a future of peace, the Terran League launches a mission to explore beyond the galaxy. The starship Rugger-Guard is attacked by the Galbeston Empire, prompting the deployment of Dairugger XV, a super robot formed from fifteen Rugger units representing Land, Air, and Sea teams. Originally designed as an exploration robot and peace-keeping force, Dairugger must defend Earth. The story follows the crew's efforts to assist the Galbeston people in finding a new planet before their own explodes, while also liberating them from their despotic Emperor. The series emphasizes themes of exploration, defense, and intergalactic cooperation. The Japanese version stands apart from the U.S. adaptation, Voltron: Defender of the Universe.
