Set in the world of Armored Trooper Votoms, Kikou Ryouhei Mellowlink follows Mellowlink, a survivor of the Great War. Haunted by the death of his comrades, Mellowlink dedicates himself to avenging his fallen squadron. His target is the general who betrayed them. Mellowlink possesses a unique talent: he is an Armor Hunter. This means he can single-handedly take down enemy mecha without piloting one himself. He relies on his combat skills, a giant mecha-killing gun, and a trusty combat knife to accomplish his mission. The series focuses on his relentless pursuit of vengeance and his struggle against the forces that stand in his way.
