Arknights: Rhodes Academy

The Doctor from Arknights is now a student, and the biggest threat isn't infection or war. It's an 8 AM class. Rhodes Academy takes the familiar Rhodes Island cast and drops them into a chibi school comedy, with Amiya and the Doctor as the central faces. Episode 1, "Morning Class," runs about five minutes and sets the tone: everyday student routines, morning fatigue, and personality clashes that play out as quick visual gags rather than drama. The kemonomimi designs stay, but the show leans into their animal traits for expressive reactions and timing. It's a deliberately cheerful alternate universe that trades the parent series' dystopian conflict for short, self-contained sketches. If you liked Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! for its chibi shipgirl hangout energy, this follows a similar playbook. If you enjoyed Arknights: Lee's Detective Agency for showing the franchise's cast in a lighter, comedy-first mode, this is that idea applied to a school setting. And if Blue Archive The Animation appealed to you for its relaxed academy vibe, Rhodes Academy covers similar ground in a shorter format. Nothing here asks you to know the main story. It's just cute characters dealing with school mornings, and sometimes that is enough.
