Aqura Home CM
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A rabbit dad comes home from work, a fox paints in her sunlit studio, and a turtle elder tends his garden — all in a cozy neighborhood where anthropomorphic animals live side by side. That's the premise of Aqura Home CM, a single short commercial produced by Wit Studio in 2025, and honestly, it packs more warmth into its brief runtime than some full-length series manage across twelve episodes. This is an original animated commercial for Aqura Home, a Japanese housing company, but don't let that put you off. Wit Studio clearly put real craft into the character designs and animation, building out a small community of animal neighbors whose daily routines and quiet interactions feel genuinely lived-in. The whole thing centers on family, belonging, and the simple comfort of having a good home — themes that land harder than you'd expect from something so short. The anthropomorphic angle gives it a storybook quality, almost like a Ghibli picture book come to life. If you liked the gentle community vibes of Barakamon or the found-family warmth of Elegant Yokai Apartment Life, this hits a similar note in miniature. There's also a touch of Wolf Children in how it treats domestic life as something worth paying close attention to. It's one episode, probably a few minutes long, and it's free emotional real estate. Sometimes the smallest things stick with you.
