📖 SYNOPSIS
"Aoi Triton" is a pilot movie created in October 1971. Its primary purpose was to introduce the "Umi no Triton" series to international audiences. The pilot features a reimagining of the titular character, Triton, with a visual style more aligned with Western animation aesthetics. This adaptation was specifically intended to appeal to potential buyers in foreign markets. The pilot film was not initially released to the public. However, it was eventually made available nearly three decades later, included as a bonus feature on the DVD release of the film version.
