This anime is by a different author with a new storyline and art style. It is not a continuation of the previous anime. The MC is not handsome, but the story really pulls you in. At first it feels happy and like slice of life, but near the end of the episode it suddenly turns brutal, gory, and tragic. Then right at the end it shifts back to a light and calm moment
