Hole

The anime centers on a man afflicted with a large hole in his abdomen. Driven by an insatiable hunger, he consumes the food that inexplicably appears on tables, seemingly in an attempt to fill the void within him. The origin of the hole and the nature of the food are unknown. One day, the food vanishes, and a creature emerges from the table. The man, at a loss, kills the creature. He then attempts to fill his belly hole with the creature's corpse, but succeeds only in filling it halfway. The narrative explores themes of consumption, emptiness, and the desperate measures one might take to alleviate a fundamental lack.
