This episode brings more tension into the story while still keeping the wholesome core intact. Seeing Zagan become more openly protective of Nephy honestly makes the relationship progress feel satisfying. The fantasy action scenes are decent, but the real strength of the anime is still the awkward but genuine romance between the main duo.
