the wholesome energy in this episode was actually insane. The way Zagan and Nephy slowly become more comfortable around each other feels super rewarding after all the awkwardness earlier. At the same time, the darker side of the magic world keeps creating tension in the background, so the anime never feels completely soft or safe.
