Episode 8 is a slight improvement over Episode 7. The teacher's introduction gives the story a new direction, and Charlotte's emotional investment in her brother remains the show's strongest element. The animation is still weak, and Haruto is still boring, but the supporting cast carries the episode. If you're invested in the show, this episode gives you more to work with.
