Airman ga Taosenai Team.Nekokan [Neko] Premium Version
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Beating Air Man is simply not possible — that's not an opinion, it's practically a meme at this point, a running joke in the Mega Man community built around one notoriously frustrating robot boss. This one-episode CM (commercial) takes that exact cultural frustration and somehow turns it into a collaboration between CAPCOM, McDonald's Japan, and animation studio Seramikaru. The premise is exactly as chaotic as it sounds: a protagonist faces off against Air Man while the whole thing is tied to McDonald's Premium Roast Iced Coffee. Action sequences, robot combat, and a refreshing cold brew somehow share the same screen. The catchy tune 'Air Man ga Taosenai' by Team.Nekokan — which Mega Man fans will already recognize — runs through the whole thing, giving it a weirdly nostalgic energy that makes the absurdity land rather than feel random. If you've seen Gintama and appreciated how it mixes ridiculous commercial parody with genuine genre affection, this scratches a similar itch in a fraction of the time. It also has that same playful food-meets-action energy you get from Food Wars, just compressed into a single short. It's a weird little artifact from 2026 — a corporate crossover that somehow respects its source material enough to be genuinely fun for Mega Man fans rather than just cynical brand content. At one episode, the commitment required is basically zero.
