At the end of the day they don’t explain to us what’s going on with Kano, it just goes around in circles with everyday life stuff and maybe what they tell us most about her is that her mom passed away and that she has a very strong bond with Poteto.
The other thing I don’t like is that they don’t go deeper into Kamio’s mom’s negligence, since she doesn’t seem to care about her daughter at all.
It seems like Yukito cares more about her than her own mother does. There are interesting topics in the anime that really aren’t being addressed, which I don’t like very much.
