Unpopular, creepy, and surrounded by wealthy students at an elite all-girls school who make no effort to hide their contempt for him, Ryuji Shibui finds his footing when he stumbles onto a secret about one of them, and things get very dark very fast. This is a 3-episode OVA from 2005, and it does not soften what it is: a story built around power abuse, coercion, and psychological manipulation within a school setting. The tone is bleak and uncomfortable throughout, centering on how Shibui weaponizes his students' vulnerabilities against them. If you're going in expecting anything lighthearted, recalibrate completely. The character designs are detailed and the animation holds up reasonably well for its era, but the content is genuinely unsettling by design. If you've watched something like Bible Black or Discipline: The Record of a Crusade and you know what you're getting into with that territory, this fits that same dark niche. It's closer in spirit to Night Shift Nurses than anything with a redemptive arc — there's no real comfort here. The storytelling is blunt and provocative, and the school setting gives the power dynamics an extra layer of tension.
