📖 SYNOPSIS
"Active Raid" is set in a Tokyo that has become a haven for crime. The story centers on Unit 8, a division of the 5th Special Public Security Section's 3rd Mobile Assault Division, known as "The Eighth." This unit utilizes powered armor exoskeletons, called "Willware," to combat the rising crime rate. Assigned to The Eighth is Assistant Inspector Asami Kazari. Her official duty is to assess the unit's performance and report back to her superiors. However, Kazari's true objective is to rehabilitate this group, known for their sloppy, haphazard, and arguably unjust approach to law enforcement. The anime explores the challenges of fighting crime in a city in decline and the struggle to maintain order.
