Set in the year 2119, "A.F" follows the crew of a medical transport ship tasked with a clandestine mission: transporting a dangerous container into Earth's orbit. The crew is kept completely in the dark about the container's contents and any potential hazards. The truth is far more perilous than they realize. The container holds a living organism, possibly in a liquid or worm-like form, that possesses a deadly ability. This organism can read the DNA of other living beings and transform itself into an exact copy. The original target of the copy is then killed. The story focuses on the unfolding danger and the crew's unwitting involvement in this deadly secret.
