📖 SYNOPSIS
The anime follows the life of Nello, who is orphaned at two years old and taken in by his grandfather in a small village. One day, Nello discovers a dog, nearly beaten to death, and nurses it back to health, naming him Patrasche. The bond between Nello and Patrasche deepens, becoming inseparable companions. Facing poverty, Nello assists his grandfather by selling milk. Patrasche, loyal and strong, helps pull the milk cart, enabling them to earn a living in their close-knit community. The story explores themes of friendship, hardship, and the enduring power of the human-animal bond.
