This finale caught me totally off guard. I kept waiting for Hinata or a different villain to crash the party and stir up some trouble, but the episode threw a curveball and served up a ton of fan service instead.
Maybe for the majority, this is exactly how they wanted the conflict to end, but for me, it feels like it wasn't enough and something was missing. The emotions were high and that was good, but it would have been better if the characters actually had to face the consequences of their choices.
The stage is set and the stakes have never been higher. The pressure and tension are building up perfectly for the final confrontation. I am really rooting for our MC to get revenge and save everyone.
After two slower episodes, I expected the pacing to accelerate, but this episode shifted the spotlight to the love triangle instead. Even with the romantic drama taking center stage, the show does a good job reminding us that serious danger is still looming just outside the barrier.
That teacher is insanely powerful, and I'm really curious to find out his true identity soon. The ending of the episode did a fantastic job setting up what's next, leaving me highly anticipating whether Taito is about to uncover the truth about the Observers.
The stakes are really getting higher. Between Taito making sacrifices to obtain power, the military acting up, and the constant pressure from those mysterious monsters from the other side, the tension is real. I'm especially curious to see the true extent of the power those monsters actually have.
We got a lot of world-building this episode, focusing on Taito's drive to get stronger so he can protect Himea. The story is getting interesting as new characters enter the mix, leaving you wondering what kind of secrets they are hiding and what it all means for the future.
A massive plot development hit us this episode. The revelations completely raise the stakes, leaving everyone anxious to see what difficult decisions the characters will make moving forward.
This episode did a great job showing Himea's past and giving us a better understanding of her character. The wholesome moments between her and Saito were really nice, but it makes me wonder what lies ahead for Haruka and how her role will develop as the story moves forward.
This episode served as a nice breather, giving us a chance to understand the different organizations in play. It was also great to get some much-needed background and insight into Gekkou, Mirai, and Hinata.
I like the plot and the way the story is moving forward, but the fights are lacking a sense of real danger. Even when the stakes are high, the mood stays a bit too lighthearted and wholesome. It really needs more tension to match the seriousness of the situation.
