A.D. Police: To Protect and Serve

A.D. Police is set in Mega-Tokyo, a few years prior to the events of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. The series focuses on the A.D. Police, a special division tasked with controlling the city's rogue Boomers. Officer Kenji Sasaki is struggling after losing a partner to a violent Boomer. Following this loss, he is taken off duty for a day. Upon his return, he is assigned a new partner, German cop Hans Kleif. The situation is complicated by the fact that Kenji had a run-in with Hans the previous night, resulting in a physical altercation. Now, Kenji must not only deal with the daily challenges of controlling Boomers but also learn to work alongside his new, and somewhat familiar, partner.
