This was frustrating in a very specific way. Teito's emotions are understandable, but sometimes watching him feels like seeing someone willingly walk into situations he clearly isn't equipped to handle. His determination should make him feel strong, yet it often has the opposite effect on me. The emotional tension itself definitely works, though, and having characters around him with such different personalities makes the heavier atmosphere hit much harder.
