I felt like it was a bittersweet ending, though it felt really touching! It seemed the journey was still ongoing with the cliffhanger that hinted a continuation for this anime. I loved how emotional and nostalgic the anime was, it really did have a great storyline that had me excited to see more. It was a bit of a pity that there was no second season for this anime or I would watch it. It was great!
