Kanojo no Tomodachi Mini Anime Gekijou

Takeru Hidaka starts dating cheerful Kaori Koga, and almost immediately her friend Tomoko Yoshioka turns a karaoke date into something harder to read. That awkward triangle is the engine behind Kanojo no Tomodachi, and this TV series of 12 mini episodes runs alongside the main show as a weekly companion piece rather than a separate story. The early setup keeps things simple: Kaori suggests karaoke, Tomoko tags along, and Takeru spends the aftermath distracted by how uneasy that interaction felt. The mini anime itself is listed with only brief numbered installments, so treat it as bonus material for the parent romance drama, not a full standalone season. Its appeal is the same tense, suggestive high school romance: loyalty, temptation, and the small moments that make a new relationship feel unstable. If you liked Aitsu no Kanojo for its uncomfortable romantic tension, or Domestic Girlfriend for messy attraction, this sits in similar territory. Scum's Wish fans may recognize the emotional unease too. Watch it with the main series, since the shorts are designed to accompany that broadcast.
