Hello! Pikmin
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A single Red Pikmin trying to move a baseball should not be this dramatic, but then a frog shows up. Hello! Pikmin is a set of ultra-short, nearly wordless comedy shorts where the tiny plantlike creatures treat everyday objects and animals like enormous obstacles. In the opening episodes, Red tries to haul that baseball and turns a simple task into slapstick survival, while Yellow sees a Pink Winged Pikmin fly and pulls Red and Blue into a plan to reach the sky. The appeal is the scale: a garden path, a curious animal, or a piece of sports equipment becomes a full visual set piece, and the Pikmin's personalities come through timing, reactions, and little sounds instead of dialogue. It is gentle, mischievous, and easy to dip into. If you liked Pui Pui Molcar's pocket-sized physical comedy or Nyanbo's tiny creatures navigating a human-sized world, this runs on the same cute visual-gag logic. Bananya fans will also recognize the short-form rhythm. It is not a big quest, just small ambitions against a world that keeps being much larger than expected.
